Job Description

As a Sr. Sales Specialist at Kitchen Barn you will play a pivotal role in helping homeowners bring their kitchen remodeling visions to life. Your primary focus will be on residential kitchen and bath remodels including sales, estimates/scope of work, planning and project oversight as the Client Manager from the initial client outreach to a project’s completion, ensuring that each of our customers’ needs and expectations are met. We are looking for someone who can work closely with our lead Designer and Project Operations Manager, supporting each other to provide the highest level of quality service.

Responsibilities

  • Highly experienced in sales and client consulting services.
  • Be the front person to nurture existing client relationships, whether it be recurring business from former clients or attaining new client business from word of mouth.
  • Skilled in initial client outreach methods to obtain new business using our advertising and social platforms.
  • Conducting in-home consultations, taking measurements, providing design influence and guiding clients through the entire process until the project is finished.
  • Keep client project records and documents up to date as changes occur.
  • Demonstrate excellent product knowledge and familiarity with the latest trends and designs within kitchen and bath remodeling. (Training will be provided)
  • Act as a trusted advisor to customers by offering personalized solutions and showcasing the benefits of our products and services.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with customers, earning their trust and confidence in our services.
  • Generate leads, follow up on inquiries in a timely manner and proactively reach out to potential customers to schedule appointments.
  • Utilize strong negotiation skills to close deals and achieve or exceed sales targets.
  • Collaborate closely with our Designer, project operations Manager and installation teams to ensure seamless project execution and customer satisfaction.
  • Stay up-to-date with industry trends, competitors, and market conditions to identify new business and marketing opportunities.

Requirements

  • Proven track record of success in sales, preferably in the home improvement or construction industry.
  • Can manage multiple client remodel projects to the point of sale, each ranging from 50k-500k.
  • After point of sale, you will act as the main point of contact for any changes (change orders) regarding design, material choices and additional labor.
  • Has some 2020 Design system experience or similar system experience such as CAD or BIM, etc..
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to connect with customers and build rapport.
  • Strong consultative selling skills, with the ability to identify customer needs and recommend appropriate solutions.
  • Ability to work independently or in a team environment.
  • Superb organizational skills and attention to detail.
  • Has a good attitude and works well in a team environment.
  • Valid driver's license and reliable transportation.
  • Owns a smartphone so you can utilize the mobile applications our team uses and requires.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Knowledge of kitchen and bath remodeling cabinet installations is a plus.
  • Sales or Industry related certificates or certifications.
  • General knowledge of any or all of the following: plumbing, electrical, cabinetry, structural framing.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $80,000.00 - $125,000.00 per year
